Quick Links for Gmail. Last updated September 30, 2026.

Quick Links for Gmail ("the extension") lets you save Gmail searches, labels and views as one-click links. It is built to collect as little as possible. We do not run servers that store your data, we do not use analytics or tracking, and we never sell data.

What the extension stores

• Your saved links: the name you give each link, the Gmail view it points to (for example #label/Work or #search/from:boss), and an optional color. Search links contain the search text you typed.
• Settings: whether the sidebar panel is collapsed, and whether you have Pro.

Links are saved with Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.sync). If you are signed in to Chrome with sync turned on, Google syncs them to your other computers under Google's Privacy Policy. We (the developer) cannot see them.

What the extension reads in Gmail

The extension runs on mail.google.com only to:

• show the Quick Links panel in Gmail's sidebar, and
• read the address of the Gmail view you are on when you choose to save it.

It does not read, copy, store or send the contents of your emails, contacts or attachments.

Payments (Pro)

Pro upgrades are handled by ExtensionPay, and card payments are processed by Stripe. When you buy Pro or log in to restore it, you give your email address and payment details to them, not to us. The extension checks with ExtensionPay whether you have paid, using a random identifier it creates on install. See ExtensionPay and the Stripe privacy policy for how they handle your information. We receive your email address and purchase record so we can help with refunds and support.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising. Data goes only to the services listed above, only to make the extension work.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

Delete individual links from Gmail's sidebar or the extension's popup, or uninstall the extension to remove everything it stores in your browser. To delete your payment record, contact us at the address below.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
